Hey everyone, we created this page so that our guests could keep up to date with any thing regarding the salon and COVID 19.

Update 5/20/20:

We are open & accepting Call ins!

Please do not visit our salon if you have been sick or been around someone who is sick.
Each guest will have to answer these questions upon entering the salon:

Are you sick? if not currently sick, Have you been sick? How long ago?

Any sicknesses in your home?

Any recent international travel? if so, has it been with in the last 14 days?

If the answer to these questions is yes, we can not serve you. We will reschedule your appointment for 14 days out. Please try your best to be understanding, these regulations are ones we must follow to be in compliance with the state of Utah, CDC and the SLC Health Department.
If we suspect you are sick we will take your temperature.


Heres what to do when you arrive at the salon:
Please wait in your car until the time of your appointment. This means no early hangouts. We are not texting or calling you to ask you to come in. Please come in at the time of your appointment.  

Please wear a mask when entering the salon. If you do not have one or are worried about getting color on yours, we have some for you at the cost of $2.00

Heres what we are doing to keep you safe:
Everything in the salon is individually disinfected for each guest. We have invested in medical cleaning supplies to go the extra mile and make sure we are not passing this pandemic. We are charging a sanitation fee of $2.00.
At night we disinfect the salon again and then we sterilize it using a UV light.

We are disinfecting any highly touched surfaces and every station & chair sat in.

We are offering alcohol wipes in the bathroom if you would like to ensure the restroom is freshly clean.
All guests will be seated 6ft apart from each other, WE have added more stations to do so!

We will have no more than 20 people on the salon floor, at once including our guests. We are allowed up to 50 people.



Amanda Moncur Salon visits during the time of covid-19:

  • Please do not visit our salon if you have been sick or been around someone who is sick.
  • Please wait in your car until the time of your appointment. This means no early hangouts.
  • Please wear a mask and gloves when entering the salon
  • Each guest will have their temperature taken before a service is provided. If your temperature is above 100 we will not be doing your hair that day.
  • Everything in the salon is individually disinfected for each guest
  • All guests will be seated 6ft apart from each other, WE have added more stations to do so!
  • We will have no more than 10 people on the salon floor, at once including our guests


Sanitation FEE

The amount of additional sanitation we have to do to stop the spread of covid-19 is a lot. The supplies we have to use are in high demand and have gone up in price. We are requiring all guests to wear a mask and gloves. If you do not have either the sanitation fee is $5.00 and we will provide them for you. If you do have a mask and gloves, the fee is $2.00. All of this fee will go towards paying for the extra items we now need to stop the spread of Covid-19. These items are to keep you safe during this time of Covid-19

How will we be rebooking your appointment?

We will begin calling to book starting April 29th if our re-open date remains the same

1. Guests who already had appointments on May 1st and after, these dates will remain the same. The times may change based on regulations. We thank you for your flexibility. We will contact you.

2. Guests who purchased gift cards during this time are on our priority booking list and will receive the first available spots. Thank you for supporting us during this time. (You can still get on this list click here)

3. If you had a canceled appointment because of COVID-19, we will begin booking in order of dates starting at the beginning of April and working our way forward. If you would like an appointment sooner, please purchase a gift card to get on our priority booking list.

4. Last but not least new guests/call ins. We want to be able to accommodate everyone in our salon. We will first have to take care of those we have commitments to prior. If you would like to be seen sooner, consider getting on our priority booking list.
